We need to take a hard look in the mirror and evaluate ourselves regularly so we can have the self-awareness necessary to keep on track with who we want to be without the encumbrances of unhealthy addictions and bad habits. Today I’ll share step 1 of 4 to freedom from bondage of our bad habits.
Knowing why doesn’t make the goal easier, but it provides the inspiration, motivation, and driving force to keep going when the going gets tough.
This is one of my favorite concepts for conquering my mind. It’s not new, but one of my favorite movies of all time, Bill Murray’s movie “What About Bob?” explains it perfectly. The idea of course is to take something big and scary and turn it into very small, simple, incremental steps toward it.
