Busy actually means 4 things that we don’t like to hear but they are true.
This goes without saying, but breaking bad habits is hard. We normally give up too easily. Listen, you’re bad habit didn’t just appear overnight, so don’t expect to kick it overnight either. Stick with it, never give up, be accountable, lean into your driving force and your values. You are worth it. The people you care about are worth it.
Now this is where it gets real. Ultimately you need to choose your next move when the trigger hits.
We’ve got to identify the trigger, not so much the behavior- you already know the behavior that you are trying to change.
We need to take a hard look in the mirror and evaluate ourselves regularly so we can have the self-awareness necessary to keep on track with who we want to be without the encumbrances of unhealthy addictions and bad habits. Today I’ll share step 1 of 4 to freedom from bondage of our bad habits.
