Everybody prays. Regardless of the faith system, people pray. And good news: prayer is great. I believe it’s among the healthiest habits a person can have. Prayer reflects our hearts desire to express gratitude and humbly ask for help. When we are desperate and at the end of our rope, we pray. When we need help that we can’t seem to get elsewhere, we pray. And sometimes when something good happens, or disaster is avoided, we may even say out loud, “Thank God.” Everybody prays. But do you ever wonder why your prayers aren’t answered?
